GIRL KNEW YORK
Mira Miriah, the girl behind Girl Knew York, has her artistic roots in fashion illustration. Embracing inspiration, she left the fashion world to become one of New York’s most popular tattoo artists. Seeing a lack of more feminine, line-art tattoos, she stepped up to fill the space with her edgy and elegant style. She has gone on to tattoo pop stars and celebrities, establishing her own parlor in Tribeca, and has branched out from tattoos to create homeware, fine art, NFTs, and a magazine.
“I think my purpose as an artist is to deliver beauty and grace.”
