THOMA VUILLE
The Franco-Swiss artist behind the infamous M. CHAT, began his street-art career with graffiti works at his local high school. He studied for a time at Beaux-Arts before going on to introduce the world to M. CHAT in 1997, on the walls of Orléans. Thoma was at the head of the street art movement of the early 2000s with his iconic M. CHAT character. Since then, he has gone on to paint murals on the walls of Paris, New York, Senegal, Brazil, and many more. His iconic character has appeared in museums, on t-shirts, and even in a coloring book. Thoma Vuille is one of France’s most famous street artists and his M. CHAT has become a cultural icon, in France and around the world.
