Founded in 2002 in Denver, Colorado, CorePower Yoga has grown to become the largest yoga studio chain in the United States, with more than 230 locations across major cities and communities nationwide. Known for its signature blend of hot yoga, strength training, and mindfulness, CorePower serves hundreds of thousands of members seeking a transformative mind-body experience.
As the brand scaled, so did the challenge of maintaining a studio environment that felt both distinctly CorePower and genuinely local — a space where guests in Denver, Chicago, or Brooklyn would feel equally at home, yet still connected to their specific neighborhood.

Designing for Community at Scale
CorePower Yoga needed interior design elements capable of doing two things at once: reinforcing a cohesive national brand identity, and celebrating the unique character of each individual neighborhood. Generic signage wouldn't cut it — the studios needed pieces that felt curated, impactful, and alive.
The ask was equally practical: any solution had to be consistent in quality across hundreds of locations, easy to customize per studio, and durable enough for a high-traffic wellness environment where guests arrive and leave multiple times a week.
CertiLED™ Neon as a Design Staple
CorePower Yoga partnered with Yellowpop to bring custom certiLED™ neon signs into their studios. Yellowpop's certiLED™ technology — known for its precision craftsmanship, vibrant glow, and energy efficiency — proved a natural fit for the brand's aesthetic: warm, energizing, and deeply human.
Each studio received bespoke neon designs that could reference local landmarks, neighborhood names, or brand-specific mottos. The result was a visual language that scaled effortlessly: the same quality and warmth in every location, but no two studios identical. From coastal studios in Southern California to urban spaces in New York City, each sign became a landmark in its own right.
The signs were strategically placed in high-visibility areas — reception walls, locker areas, and practice rooms — creating natural focal points that encouraged social sharing and deepened the emotional connection between guests and their studio.

The certiLED™ neon signs quickly became among the most recognized and photographed features inside CorePower's studio network. Members began tagging their home studios by the neon designs on social media, organically amplifying the brand's reach far beyond paid channels.
